While You Were Out - The replacement for the pink message pad.

While You Were Out - The replacement for the pink message pad.

Inspiration sometimes comes in the most unlikely of places. While You Were Out was inspired by an office where I couldn't find a message pad or a pen. I thought to myself "Self? Wouldn't it be easier if there was always a message pad handy?" And self replied "Why, yes...yes it would. And while you're at it, why don't you make it send the message via email?"

Why not just use voicemail?

Good question, but in this case voicemail wasn't available. Odds are, there are more than a few small businesses out there where this is just the tool that's needed to get the job done.

While You Were Out presents a familiar layout for your phone messages.

OK...so what does it do?

Quite simply, it provides an easy way to get a voicemail message to employees in your small business.

When the phone rings, restore While You Were Out from the tray and input the caller's information.

Hi! I'm the While You Were Out tray icon.

One exciting feature is the URGENT checkbox. If a user has set up their profile to receive URGENT messages via SMS, a text message will be sent with the caller's name, phone number and an excerpt of the message text. The full message will also be delivered to the recipient.

Wow, this is cool! How do I get my copy?

While You Were Out is reasonably priced at $19.99 and we accept payments via PayPal. Once payment has been received a copy of the application will be emailed to you.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?

We guarantee that once installed on your computer and configured properly, you will never have to look for a pink pad or pen to take a phone message ever again.

Seriously, though...if you absolutely hate While You Were Out, just contact us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund your purchase price.
